Stress is a part of life because it’s natural and it helps us to live well. Too much stress throws us off balance and interferes with our quality of life, our health and our ability to be the best version of ourselves. Stress builds up as naturally as the film on your teeth each morning. This course is designed to provide you with tools and knowledge to alleviate your stress on a daily basis so it becomes a habit, as simple and as easy as brushing your teeth. In this 6-week course, we will draw on the teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda (the model of health developed 5,000 years ago to work alongside Yoga), which offer 5,000 years of experience in stress management and the techniques that work to alleviate it. This program is designed to build awareness about the triggers that produce our greatest stress, introduce lifestyle skills to minimize it and practice stress management techniques to release it.
